Deferred decision on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef

The World Heritage Committee meeting today deferred a decision on whether to inscribe Australia’s Great Barrier Reef on the List of World Heritage in Danger.
The 38th session of the World Heritage Committee commenced in Doha on 15th June at QNCC, chaired by H. E. Sheikha Al Mayassa Bint Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani.
