We will be showcasing our unique collection of art catalogues and heritage books as well as our latest releases.

We will also be conducting a series of cultural activities and workshops for children.

HERITAGE WORKSHOP

4–6 PM

In this workshop, children will build a miniature model of Barzan Tower, highlighting its beautiful heritage features, using modern materials such as cork boards and wood.

DECEMBER 01 – SATURDAY

BOOK LAUNCH: CONCERNING THE HORSES OF THE ORIENT AND THOSE ORIGINATING FROM ORIENTAL BREEDS

Book launch of the award-winning edition of a 19th century work on Arabian horses Concerning the Horses of the Orient and Those Originating from Oriental Breeds by Polish explorer

Waclaw Seweryn Rzewuski. This historic study contains detailed descriptions and beautiful illustrations of Arabian horses and methods of training them, as well as information on Bedouin and Arabian culture and traditions.

Books are aviable for purchase.

Create your own story based on one of MIA's exhibitions. Use characters based on the objects and imagine how they live in the exhibition or became a part of the museum collection using a visual storyboard to plot your ideas.
