This workshop focuses on the concept of negative space when planning the composition of an image. It is a key element to achieving a more dynamic or stylistic art work, and is an effective medium to creatively convey the artist’s intentions. Negative space helps to depict a subject within various mediums, such as graphic design, typography and photography. It creates a balance within the design of an art work, completing it as a whole and enticing the viewer.
