Brian Donnelly (b. 1974, USA), known professionally as KAWS, is one the top living contemporary artists in the world and this is his first show in the region. Curated by internationally renowned art historian Germano Celant, the exhibition will explore KAWS’ vast output featuring paintings and large-scale sculptures together with an archive showcasing commercial collaborations with major fashion and design companies.
KAWS is celebrated for larger-than-life sculptures that play on nostalgia and hidden emotions. To empathize with KAWS’ characters participants will sculpt a 3D model that will express a particular emotion.
