Afterwards, at Mathaf

2014

Curated by Abdellah Karroum, the exhibition features Shirin Neshat's existing and newly produced works, including the major photographic series, The Book of Kings (2012). The exhibition also encompasses a selection of video installations commenting on the historical, cultural and political realities that she has focused on for over 30 years.

We're happy to announce that our next In Conversation piece will feature Shirin Nashat. Don't miss this candid interaction as we delve deep into Shirin Neshat's own personal artistic journey as well as her thoughts on the Qatari arts and culture scene!

Behind the scenes at the In Conversation shoot

Shirin Neshat wore a beutiful Cityzen by Azin gown to the exhibition opening at Mathaf this eveing. It exhibited aerial views of the city of Doha, Qatar.

By merging fashion with social entrepreneurship, Cityzen aimes to promote global dialogue by transcending physical and cultural borders. As a brand, it believes that the arts can bridge differences, technology reveals beauty, interconnectivity leads to new discoveries, and taking the long view brings our commonality into focus.

Doha has now been added to the list of cities that Cityzen features!
